On the 5th July 1902 The Elworth Silver Band performed at the 'Coronation Celebrations' even though the actual Coronation was postponed until the 9 August 1902 due to the new King having what was described as a cold (It turned out to be appendicitis).
This was the final appearance for the band in its present form.
